Tip-sy Tuesday: is it a dish, pan, or casserole?

I read this tip that I didn't know on yesterday's recipe for chicken and wild rice casserole found at BHG and thought I'd share:

This recipe calls for a baking dish, which means a dish made out of glass or ceramic (baking pans are made of metal). In contrast, a casserole dish refers to a dish that is round and deep.
