I forgot about these cute little chairs our bartender (on the cruise we took in May) made for us out of the cage things that go over the top of a champagne cork to keep it from popping off. I took one of them apart to see how he did it - next time you're at a party where there are champagne wire cage things laying around you are going to wow and delight people with your new party trick ;)
Each chair takes 2 champagne cages (I have no idea what those things are called, it looks like a cork cage to me so let's go with that). One is the base/seat of the chair and you don't need to do anything to it. Bend the second one like in the pictures, set it on top of the base, and twist to attach. Easy, funny, and cute.
These would make really cute place card holders or table decorations in addition to being a party trick hahaha....great, now in addition to collecting corks I'm going to have to find some champagne cages to save up for our next party!
