I bake a lot. Like a lot a lot. Saw this little tip at cookinglight.com for getting the oven up to temperature faster and thought I'd try it - it isn't a drastic difference but it definitely heats up the oven a little quicker. So if I can remember to do this maybe I won't be standing around waiting on the oven in the future!
'Turn on the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes before preheating the oven to whatever temperature you need. Shaves minutes off waiting for the oven to heat up'.
