I painted these in 2019 and showed a photo in a post titled "St. Patrick's Day Plan" but never gave them their own post - so how are you going to see shamrocks painted on rocks without a post hahahah. So here, I'm making it right.
Paint the tops of the rocks a solid color for a base. Lightly trace or freehand 3 or 4 hearts so you have a shamrock template (each leaf is a heart). Then layer multiple dots in the shape of a shamrock using the handle of a small paintbrush dipped in craft paint. Just keep layering the dots until you get the effect you like. I used different greens, white, and gold paints.
our table decor - small shamrock plants, green lentils in glass candleholders, gold chocolate coins, and the sham-rocks that people took home as a little gift. |
