As you know, there's nothing in my house I won't decorate...so when I pulled out some Christmas decorations I decided Sarge's contact paper doghouse needed some things to get in the spirit - last year I just stood a wood Christmas tree next to his area but this time he got a wreath and a tinsel tree. Now he normally could not care less about decorations but boy, that tinsel tree took some getting used to! He backed up, barked, sniffed it, backed up, barked...then of course he tipped it over and had to scramble away before it somehow attacked him even more :)I initially had a dog scarf wrapped around the base of the tree but after he accepted the tree being there he could not leave the scarf alone - when he goes to the groomer they put a scarf around his neck and once home he wants it off. It's become a game that when I untie it he grabs it and runs around like a yahoo - when he recognized a scarf was under the tree he had to have it! So cute.
