Tip-sy Tuesday: cleaning suede

My slippers - which should stay as inside slippers but I tend to wear them outside as well - are a mess after wearing them outside this winter even tho I sprayed them early on with protectant...ugh. 

Or should I say UGG hahahahah, made myself laugh. 

I spot cleaned them first brushing with a stiff brush to remove any dirt, etc. Then using a rag and white vinegar, I just blotted the areas and let it dry. That worked pretty good but I could still see some light stains so I lightly rubbed them again with the vinegar and then a damp wet rag. Let dry and then brush again to fluff up the nap. 

Overall I'm pleased with the results - don't look like new but the obvious stains are gone. As always my after pic isn't great but in real life these are back to black!
