Herb Bubble Bread

This is a super easy recipe for pull apart rolls - perfect for Thanksgiving (or anytime really, it's so easy don't just make it for special occasions!). Yes it starts with frozen bread dough but who cares - I definitely don't think you always have to make things from scratch, especially when it's going to be doctored up like this Bubble Bread. And you're making it "homemade" by rolling dough balls in butter, herbs, and cheese - for what it's worth, these taste, smell, and look great!  A keeper recipe for sure :)

I took these to Al and Cathy's in a simple fabric bread basket I whipped up in just a few minutes, I'll show you that later...

Ingredients:
  • 1 pound loaf white or honey wheat frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon dill
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat oven to 375'

Use scissors to cut loaf into 20 pieces. Combine melted butter with seasonings i small bowl. Place cheese in shallow dish. Shape dough pieces into balls. Dip in butter mixture and roll in cheese. Arrange balls in greased 8x4-inch loaf pan. Cover with clean, dry towel and let rise in warm place until doubled in bulk. Bake until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes and invert from pan.
