Philly Cheesesteak-Inspired Sandwich

Last week I made beef and mushrooms with the super thinly sliced steak we found at Costco, this week LeDonna gave me the idea to make this Philly Cheesesteak inspired sandwich. 


Slice the steak in pieces about 1" or so wide. Brown mushrooms in a pan with a little oil, add the steak pieces and continue cooking until the meat is cooked to your liking; lay slices of provolone on top of the beef and mushrooms and let it melt. Stir the melted cheese into the beef mixture and spoon on top of grilled hoagie buns.
